The Super Bowl of Foot and Ankle is coming at you with a boatload of foot and ankle talks over the weekend starting Friday at 8pm EST.
- 102 Faculty members
- 136 Talks
- 48 Hours of content
Dr. Mark Myerson, the executive director of Steps 2 Walk, has put together a monster line up of surgeon’s from around the globe. Topic’s range from tarsal coalitions to TAR. Technique tips and new ideas are a big part of these talks surrounding a wide range of complex foot and ankle issues.
We have highlighted 1 talk from each session below, please note that each session has about 5 talks each averaging roughly 5-10min in length. There is a total of 4 Modules lasting about 9 hours each, starting Friday at 8pm EST. It has to be assumed that these talks will be recorded and made available for viewing on demand at a later date.
It will be interesting to hear some of the international takes on some current trends in the US market:
- 3-dimensional bunion correction from Bangkok
- Total talus replacement tips from Japan
- Use of titanium mesh cage for managing of mid foot bone loss from India
- Arthroscopic subtalar fusions from France
In addition to some of the international thought leaders such as Andy Goldberg, Christian Ortiz, and Beat Hinterman, the US also has a line-up of renowned presenters as well including: Paul Fortin, John Anderson, Lew Schon, and Chris Coetzee to name a few.
Paragon 28 is sponsoring this event, which is expected, as Myerson is a large shareholder in the company. Expect to see a few talks featuring their products, but I do not foresee this as being a Paragon 28 showcase. These are legit talks by legit surgeons from the US and around the globe.
Get the coffee brewing, put the kids to bed, and strap in for all the foot and ankle you can handle this weekend.
Here are the session times and one highlighted talk from each session (sessions average 5 – 5 min presentations with a moderator assigned to each). The full agenda is linked at the bottom of the page.
